01Is asktrix free?

The Free plan is free forever for up to two team members. You can try Start and Team for 14 days, no credit card.

02What happens to my data?

Conversations, contacts and articles stay in your workspace, and you can export them at any time. Only when Trix answers does the necessary text go to the AI provider you chose. We sign a data processing agreement (DPA) with you.

03Which AI powers Trix?

The one you choose. Trix runs on your own API key from Anthropic, OpenAI or a compatible endpoint like LiteLLM or OpenRouter. You pay AI costs directly to the provider, with no markup. Trix is available from the Start plan.

04Do I have to use Trix?

No. Inbox, widget, help center, contacts and campaigns work without one. Turn on Trix when you are ready.

05How does the chat widget get onto my website?

Copy two lines of code from the settings into your site – WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or plain HTML.

06Can I cancel any time?

Yes, monthly. You can download your conversations, contacts and articles as an export whenever you like.

07Which languages are available?

The app, chat widget and help center come in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish, each in light and dark. Help center articles can be published in any language.
